Betty Kearns Little Black Dress Event Benefits Mercy Mammography Services
Port Huron, MI…It was an evening of dazzling delights as more than 400 area women donned their little black dresses and evening attire to attend the Betty Kearns Little Black Dress Event, held at Port Huron Golf Club, in early March 2008.
Mercy Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that as a result of this outstanding community event, it has received $6,000 to benefit the Mercy Women’s Health Center as it plans to provide digital mammography to women throughout the community.
“The Betty Kearns Little Black Dress event contribution will be extremely helpful as we work to announce plans to provide digital mammography at both Mercy Hospital and Mercy Health Center in Fort Gratiot,” comments Peter Karadoff, Mercy Hospital President and CEO. “Although all the details are not complete, Mercy Hospital expects to announce its provision of highly-advanced digital mammography services in the coming months. Grass roots programs such as this have been instrumental in making this program a reality. With all due sincerity, we wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Betty Kearns family.”
